I'm Maneet Relom, a psychodynamic psychotherapist in West Ealing, London. In person or online, in English, Swedish, Hindi or Punjabi.
Starting therapy can be a daunting and significant step. That's why choosing the right therapist is so important.
I'm Maneet Relom, a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist based in West Ealing, London, and a Registered Member of the BACP (MBACP). I've worked in university settings, the corporate sector and private practice. Alongside my practice, I'm Training and Consultancy Partner at West Central London Mind, where I work with professionals to support mental health at work.
My approach is relational. I work with adults from many backgrounds, and with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationships, loss and trauma.
This is a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space, where you can take your time and come to understand yourself more deeply.
These are some of the things people come to talk about. Tap one to see what it can feel like.
Not sure what to call what you're feeling? That's fine. Many people start there.
Psychodynamic therapy is based on the idea that our present-day difficulties are often shaped by past experiences and relationships, many of which we're not fully aware of.
Rather than only focusing on symptoms, we explore patterns: in how you relate to others, to yourself, and to me as your therapist. Slowly, we build a deeper understanding of what's really going on underneath.
It's a relational way of working. The relationship between us becomes part of the process, a space to notice and work through things as they come up, not just talk about them afterwards.
Sessions are 50 minutes, once a week. We can work short term or long term, depending on what you need.

A relaxed phone call about what's bringing you to therapy, what's going on for you now, and whether I'm the right fit for you.

A two-way conversation about your past, what's difficult now and what you'd like from therapy, so we can both decide if we want to work together.

Regular 50-minute sessions, in West Ealing or online, for as long as is useful. Short term or long term, we decide together.
Some things are easier to say in the language you grew up with. Sessions are available in English, Swedish, Hindi and Punjabi, and you're welcome to move between them.

A private, calm room in West Ealing, London. A space that's just for you for those 50 minutes.

Secure video sessions from home, work or anywhere private in the UK. Same time each week, same attention.
I've worked with people in universities, in the community, in the corporate world and in private practice. That range means I'm used to meeting people exactly where they are, whatever their background, culture or starting point.
My training is psychodynamic, and my way of working is relational: warm, curious and collaborative.
I welcome referrals from psychotherapists, GPs and organisations for adults who would benefit from once-weekly psychodynamic work, including clients who would like to work in Swedish, Hindi or Punjabi.
Maneet also runs Maple Wellbeing: mental health training, workshops and employee counselling for organisations, in London, Stockholm and online. If you're an HR or wellbeing lead, start there.
If yours isn't here, ask it on the free call. There's no such thing as a silly question.

Book a free callYes. Many people start with a feeling that something isn't right, without a clear name for it. Working that out together is part of the process.
We talk briefly about what's bringing you to therapy and what's going on for you at the moment. You can ask anything about how I work. There's no commitment, and it's fine to take time to think afterwards.
It's a one-hour, two-way meeting. I'll ask about your past experiences, what's difficult now and what you'd like from therapy. It's also your chance to see how it feels to talk with me. Afterwards, we both decide whether to work together.
It depends on you. Some people come for a set number of sessions to focus on one thing. Others prefer longer-term work to explore patterns more deeply. We'll talk about it at the start and review it as we go.
Both work well. In-person sessions are in West Ealing. Online sessions are by secure video, and you just need a private, quiet space. The fee is the same either way.
Yes. Sessions can be in English, Swedish, Hindi or Punjabi, and you're welcome to switch between them when a word fits better in one language.
Yes. What you share stays between us. The only exceptions are the ones every therapist works within, such as a serious risk to your safety or someone else's. I'll explain these clearly at the assessment, so there are no surprises.
This practice offers once-weekly therapy for adults. I don't work with under-18s or couples, and I'm not able to offer crisis or urgent support. If that's what you need, I'll help you find the right place, and the numbers at the bottom of this page are there any time.
You can stop at any time.
Sessions are invoiced at the end of each month. The assessment is £100 and ongoing sessions are £80 each.
